About Me
Experience
Starting counselling can feel daunting, and I honour trust, that is why I offer a free initial consultation, so you can connect, ask questions and feel confident that Pathway Counselling is the right place for you.I am a highly experienced integrative counsellor, meaning I have studied different models of practice, eg Transactional Analysis, CBT, Person Centred, that enable me to tailor my therapy to suit individual needs, that helps you heal, grow and find positive change.
I have worked with adults experiencing mental health issues for over 30 years and offer a warm, professional approach.I am also a couples relationship counsellor, trained through Relate.I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
Background
I started my career working with children and young people with additional needs, going on to work with families experiencing difficulties such as relationship issues, domestic abuse, and addictions. I have many years of experience working with young parents. I have worked for a Northumberland based counselling organisation as a bereavement counsellor and more recently with Relate as a relationship counsellor.
Counselling services
I offer face to face counselling for adults at The Bodyworks Centre in Hexham as well as online and telephone, for those who wish to have their sessions from their own home, this method also enables me to work with clients throughout the UK.

- parenting issues between couples
